- #1=nurse...but I can't be a constant pacifier
- Put him in carseat, lift him up and down
- walk up and down stairs with him
- rock back and forth
- Vacuum around him
- Tonight, we learned a new "soother"....sit him in his carseat and set it next to the dryer while it is drying. Benjamin went from screaming to silent in just a few minutes! Oh how the small things make Hubby and I happy.

Mr Fussy Britches
Benjamin gets fussy at least a few times throughout the day, which I assume is pretty normal for babies. We have found a few things that quiet him down...

my mom used to use that same dryer trick with me as a baby :).
ReplyDeleteif he likes the vacuum you should try putting a white noise machine in his room at bedtime. my friends do it and it helps their little one sleep like magic.
(you probably have parenting advice coming out your ears, so feel free to disregard this if it's annoying) :)
Well, at least your floor will be clean, your clothes will be dry, and your arms will be toned (for all that lifting!)
ReplyDeleteI remember the constant pacifier stage. Oh, man. It was rough. It will get better, even though it seems like it's taking a long time. Try going on a walk or driving around the block. Those both worked for Carson, as he liked the motion. Seems like Benjamin does too.
